hey there, I advise you to google, go on wikipedia or which ever search engine and tyoe in “truth about chrismas”. After my research I can understand how God can find them distasteful.

Christmas has become a materialistic holiday focusing on getting gifts so that would be hated by God.

  • ALL of Grace (Kathryn E. Stuart):

There are many who prattle on about Christmas but don’t really celebrate the birth of Christ our Saviour. They simply get into greed mode and confuse the whole thing.
A very quiet Christmas with the Lord is a blessing.
the commercialization of it – not so much.

What I find amazing about Christmas is the commercialization. The world wants the Christmas money. Santa keeps the idea alive so children are aware of it. Every year everyone is reminded about Christmas. It keeps the reality of Jesus alive, and the world will never stop because they want the money. I think it is a fabulous witness. It is a time people are open to being witnessed and preached to. Songs tell them the story and praise God.
But humans are imperfect and weak. What are you going to do? Fantasy makes people think evrything should be a certain way that one time of the year, it won’t, not this side of heaven. It is keeping the story of Jesus alive.
