How Much Would A Fur Costume Cost To Buy/make?
I am a 17 year old furry, and really excited for Anthrocon 2010. However, I do not want to go without a fur costume or, at least, some face paint, a tail, paws and ears. How much would it cost to either buy or make these items?

as for the cost of a fursuit, it depends on the quality. I’d say the “crappy” ones are $200-$400 and the “good” ones are $900+

Finding an expensive costume is easy, but if you’re looking for something economical you can try Altertimes at http://www.AlterTimes.com.
They have ear and tail sets (http://www.altertimes.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=30&products_id=149) , as well as tons of make-up and I know they go to lots of conventions…they’re also based out of Pittsburgh so they’ll probably be at Anthrocon.
You can also e-mail their make-up person for info at efx@altertimes.com because they have more stuff in stock than just what is on the site. They were at Otakon and I got make-up and a top hat from them.
